“Be kind, be resilient”.

‘Y’ is the first young fashion designers' competition I entered. During the pandemic I was inspired by the Canary Island pine trees and the environment that surrounded me in absolute silence, making the decision to create a design that spoke about the resilience that each person was going through at that moment but above all in our planet, which benefited from being able to recover for a few months the peace and fresh air that saw it grow. That is why, just as snakes shed their skin, our home, the Earth, is resilient with each day that it allows us to live on it.

‘We'd rather be dry and not get wet in the rain, but at least we're alive’.

Resilient: able to be happy, successful, etc again after something difficult or bad has happened.
